The transition from being a free single woman to creating life and shifting your world for the cutest little person can be oh so very challenging. Sometimes we have a support system and that's great! Then unfortunately a lot of other don't have one or have others that are consistent. I am here to tell you that I see you. I see you for how hard you try to take care of everyone and yourself. I see you working making income for your family. I see you being amazing facing every challenge that comes your way and you knock it right down! Giving ourselves grace and feeding positivity into us can surely make the days better. Here's some postpartum affirmations to feed into you!:
My body created a person, I am so magical!
I brought life into this world, I am amazing.
I know I'm a great mom, I try everyday and my kids are happy.
I got one thing accomplished today and that makes me a great mom.
I deserve fulfillment and relaxation.
I am strong enough to handle this shift into motherhood.
My feelings are valid and it is perfectly fine to be overwhelmed and tired.
The love I have for my baby will forever be boundless.
I am doing the best I can taking care of my baby.
Motherhood was meant for me and I embrace it fully.
You can say your affirmations everyday, write them on sticky notes and place them around your house, or even save them for when your having a bad day to just give yourself the reassurance that you can do it and make it through the day. Raising kids can be very overwhelming and overstimulating! Take a deep breath, pause for moment, say an affirmation, and keep moving forward!
Sincerely, the doula that's proud of you
